Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - noon and 1 pm to 5 pm
What I Do:
- Oversee the planning, delivery, maintenance, decommissioning, and recycling of all IT equipment across the organization
- Oversee hardware diagnostic and repairs of college and privately-owned equipment and define standard policies and procedures for all CHS staff to follow
- Oversee technology purchasing to ensure optimal pricing on quality products that meet campus technology needs
- Oversee technology consulting, order processing, accounting, equipment receiving, distribution, and warranty tracking
- Oversee the safe and secure reallocation, decommissioning, and recycling of college equipment
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of two full-time employees, and 10 student employees, including work scheduling, timesheet processing, development of training, and goal performance review
- Develop, document, and maintain secure procedures for receiving, inventorying, storing, and deploying college equipment
- Serve as the top escalation point to resolve complex end user complaints and technical issues
- Manage the entire student equipment loaner program including application processing, decision notifications, computer allocations, and timely equipment returns
- Maintain inventory of available computing equipment, ensure sufficient supplies are available to meet upcoming deployments, and coordinate the procurement of additional equipment as needed
- Manage CHS financial records including sales, purchases, invoices and account reconciliation
- Maintain key relationships with third-party vendors, including local equipment recycling partners
